I have always wished for the ability to take an image of exactly what I see, through the eyelashes of my eyes. With that always in the back of my mind, I try to take my photos to be as accurate to what I am percieving as possible. The photo then becomes a testiment to my life's history. Every photo I take is a memory I sribbled onto paper, preserved in time for others to absorb.
To me, photography is logic. I can see one way, and that is my way. Without a photograph I would not be able to show anyone else my way of seeing. (I am a horrible painter) Though, with a photo, I allow others to percieve my perception of life. To see through my eyelashes. Without photography, these beautiful, thought provoking, sometimes disturbing images would be trapped in my minds eye for eternity, only for me to dazzle at. And to be honest, I've never wanted to be that selfish. So, I invite you to gaze into my own perception of life. That being said, I thank photography and all its might. Enjoy.
